Cirencester Ramblers

Nine Ramblers (Seven from Cirencester & two all the way from Croydon) enjoyed a 6.25 mile walk on a blustery but for a change a dry day from Southrop across fields, tracks and quiet country roads to the village of Eastleach Turnville where we had our refreshment break. We then continued across farm fields with excellent views to the River Leach crossing via stepping stones (One photo shows this when it was dry on my first walkover in October last year and another with lots of water) We continued to the lovely village of Fyfield and then back to the start but not before crossing the River Leach again which had flooded over the footpath and had no choice but to get wet feet. At least it got our boots nice and clean. All enjoyed the walk particularly the water obstacles.
