Cirencester Ramblers

On Sunday 20th September, a fine morning, 23 ramblers set off from Bourton-on-the-Water. Following the Monarchs Way they walked through Lower Slaughter and arrived at Upper Slaughter.

They stopped at the church for morning coffee. This is where the group split with Sylvia leading 15 walkers across the fields to Aston Mill and back to Bourton to complete a 5 mile walk.

Eight ramblers continued on the long 10 mile walk following the Wardens Way to Naunton. Lunch was at the church. A climb out of the village took the group through the golf course and down into the valley.

Then following the Windrush Way to Aston Mill, they stopped for a few minutes on the bridge before continuing back to Bourton.
