Eleven members and 1 guest met in Avening to enjoy a lovely warm, sunny day and fabulous views all around.

 They walked up Steps Lane through the Gatcombe Estate then across Minchinhampton Golf Course.

 They then continued past Nags Head and followed a track through Nags Head woods.

 At the top they crossed several fields to emerge on Star Lane which they followed back into Avening.

 They then visited the Weighbridge Inn and tucked into their rewarding 2 in 1 pies.
