On a drizzly morning, 16 Ramblers and 1 guest set off from Seven Springs lay-by across the fields to the pretty village of Coberley.

 We crossed the River churn continuing through more fields to pass the alpaca farm where we were scrutinised by these curious inhabitants.

 Next we passed through a well kept country estate with metal sculptures to arrive at Cowley, passing the historical Cowley Manor. We continued on lanes to the Green Dragon Inn at Cockleford, where we stopped for a brief coffee break on the verge outside.

 We continued on the lane passing a field full of cowslips, then down a wooded track to cross the river Churn again in the beautiful garden of a mill house, before ascending to cross the road.

 We took the farm track opposite up a long gentle hill with stunning views of the Churn Valley on both sides and stopped at the top for our lunch break, thankfully the drizzle had ceased. We continued onto a lane through Upper Coberley, eventually descending through a wood to meet the main road at the Seven Springs roundabout, crossing the road back to the start.
