Easter Monday was a glorious sunny day as a group of 19 with 3 new members on their first walk enjoyed a 5 and a half mile walk from the village of Churchill.

A walk in two halves in a figure of eight, the first part was along a private road and a wide track followed by a road walk into Cornwell.   We did a scenic walk around the village( which was remodeled in the 1930's by Clough Williams-Ellis of Portmeirion fame) admiring the church and Cotswold Stone dwellings. Stopping opposite to the grand Cornwell Manor for refreshments the return to Churchill followed the Dalton and D'arcy Way through a farm and several fields including one where we nearly disappeared in a field of oil seed rape. There were glorious views of the surrounding countryside on our return to Churchill
