A group of 15 joined this walk in delightful Spring weather. After initially walking out to the viewing point on Haresfield Beacon which provided excellent views across the surrounding countryside as far as South Wales, the route joined the Cotswold Way.
Stopping for a coffee break at the monument to the Siege of Gloucester, we continued along an undulating path before climbing steeply up through woodland towards the village of Randwick.
Turning right before the village, the route re-joined the Cotswold Way where the group enjoyed a lunchbreak perched on some logs prior to the gradual ascent through Standish Wood back up to the NT carpark.
