Cirencester Ramblers

On a clear late Autumn morning 13 Ramblers set off from the Thames Head Inn along the road to the picturesque village of Tarlton.

Heading across fields, while enjoying lovely countryside views, we stopped for a break by the now unfortunately closed Tunnel House Inn before descending to the Thames and Severn Canal towpath.

The Autumn Colours along the path were a spectacular sight. Leaving the towpath, we headed toward the Source of the Thames, picking up the Wysis Way/Thames Path for a short section before crossing the railway line and returning to the Thames Head Inn for an enjoyable lunch.
