On Sunday 13th June 19 members and 2 guests enjoyed a 6½ mile walk on a hot summer’s day.

From Guiting Power we set off on a footpath and lane to Castlett Farm and Kineton.

After making our way through Kineton we stopped for a coffee break on the track to Guiting Wood.

The walk continued around the edge of the wood on lanes and tracks before taking a steep uphill path through the wood, stopping for lunch in the shade, before emerging onto open fields with wide ranging views of the countryside.

We descended past the The Manor House to join the Wardens Way back to Guiting Power.
