Twenty members and one guest enjoyed a leisurely 5½ mile walk from Baggy Point, near Croyde.

From the NT car park we walked to Croyde along the beach and through the sand dunes. We had to make way for long distance runners who were following the same route as us for much of the first part of the walk. Having walked through the pretty village of Croyde we took Combas and Meadow Lanes to Putsborough. After a little more lane walking we joined the South West Coast Path at Napps Cliff.

We stopped here for a coffee break and enjoyed the view along Putsborough Sands. We continued on the South West Coastal Path out to Baggy Point where we stopped for a quick look around. We returned to the car park along the SWCP with its cliff edge views.
