Twelve members set off for a 4 mile walk from Shipton Moyne on a lovely warm evening. Heading south down a track and turning onto the Fosse Way, members walked along wide easy tracks with plenty of chance to talk with friends after months away from group walks.
After turning off the track we followed the path down to the River Avon crossing a bridge and glimpsing people enjoying themselves in the water. After a quick water stop we headed through fields of crops to Easton Grey admiring the beautiful gardens on the way through the village.
Heading back along the road and fields to Shipton Moyne, we enjoyed the completely still evening and pretty sunset, getting back to the village in time for some of us to have a welcome drink in the Cat and Custard Pot Inn garden.
