Sixteen members and one guest set off from the Goods Shed car park in Tetbury for a 3 mile walk under clear blue skies. A lovely morning for walking, giving great views of the parish church spire for much of the walk. Going out past the hospital, before negotiating a bit of mud at a field entrance, the group headed across the fields to the Long Newnton road. We followed the road to Little Larkhill Farm passing the pill boxes constructed for World War 2 defences (part of the Green Line).

Stopping for a coffee break among the snowdrops the group headed down to the old Kemble/Tetbury railway line where we found more information about the defences. Returning along the line past an Alpaca field most of the group sampled an enjoyable lunch at the cafe at the Goods Shed before heading home.
