Cirencester Ramblers

On Wednesday 12th June 9 members and 2 guests from Australia set off on a 4¼ mile walk from The Chedworth Farm Shop.

We made our way to the hamlet of Longfurlong then on through the remains of an old railway bridge. Walking around the fields still wet from the recent heavy rain we passed through the riding school at New Barn where we had a brief stop.

Continuing we walked through Chedworth past the village hall and down to Lower Chedworth. Walking past the quaint cottages we briefly stopped to help with the recovery of a car, which was blocking our way, and admire the views across the valley. Back at the Farm Shop we were ready to enjoy lunch in their café where we were joined by Bill White.
