On today's walk in Stow there were 10 of us on the walk, starting off walking through Stow High Street down to the lanes taking in the views until we reached the Stow Wells, from there we carried on until we got to the village of Broadwell taking a little break and a chat, from there we went through the church grounds where there is a very old yew tree, up the lanes to Donnington village, across the fields to the site of the Stow battle of 1646 where we had lunch. After lunch we went across the fields to the Donnington Brewery, then onto Upper Swell and up to Stow from there. Walk was enjoyed by all....
