On Sunday 21st January 11 Members and 1 new Member (her first walk with the club) started off at Chedworth Old Airfield to walk across the Airfield to a wide track , bearing left down the track passed a Hayrick , then turning right and going round a clump of trees, took us on a track which led all the way along the top of Chedworth with fine views of the Village and Valley below.

By this time the sun peaked through and stayed with us till the walk was nearly over. Near the end of this track, we took a right down to some barns and then left through a wooden door of some large Wooden Gates which lead into the grounds of Chedworth Manor. just before we left the grounds, we sat on a grass verge to enjoy our lunch stop with its fine views still looking over Chedworth .

We then came down the lane of Pan Cake Hill, which took us to the valley bottom and bearing round the right hand bend of the road which takes us all the way through the Village with its many lovely houses and cottages, the lane was very undulating till we came at the Seven Tuns Pub. Then passed the Church of St Andrew. went through a gate at the end, turned left up the quite steep hillside to some steps, up the steps to the track at the top , turned left to retrace out walk back to the cars.

Everyone thanked me and said how much they had enjoyed the walk
