Three members (one from Gloucester) set off from Sharpness picnic site, via fields and tracks to Newtown then Berkeley, passing the Edward Jenner Museum, to pause in the churchyard overlooking Berkeley Castle.

 They then progressed through fields following Berkeley Pill to the River Severn and alongside the river back to Sharpness, enjoying far reaching views of the Severn Bridges and the Forest of Dean.
