Eight members and a welcome visitor from the USA started walking from the Cat and Custard Pot Inn at Shipton Moyne on a warm Wednesday evening, on a walk of four and a half miles

Heading down Cranmore Lane, crossing the Fosse Way for the first time, we headed across fields before doing a bit of road walking. We then turn off through a pretty valley to Boakley Farm and on towards Brokenborough, before taking a road towards the Estcourt estate. We passed some magnificent trees and beautiful horses with their foals in the paddocks.

As the sun was setting we made our way towards the church and pub for a very welcome drink, meeting some very happy old spot pigs grazing in the last field.
