The group started the walk at the Seven Tuns pub in Chedworth.   A couple of hours before the walk there had been a few downpours but the weather fortunately brightened, and they were able to enjoy the walk without any further rain.

 They headed out towards St Andrew’s Church, the Airfield, then into Chedworth Wood and subsequently followed the Monarch’s Way.

 The route returned to the Seven Tuns via the valley floor, following the stream and winding their way along grass meadows. Their challenge was the number of stiles and the varying structure, quality, and ease of access that these created – anyway it led to a fair bit of bant – Bea thought she had become Queen of the Stiles!!!

 All in all, a lovely evening with good company and refreshments at the Seven Tuns.
