A group of 21 members plus one guest enjoyed a pleasant walk in dry weather following sections of the Thames path.

 Starting from Halfpenny Bridge in Lechlade we made our way close to the river towards Inglesham where we stopped for a coffee break at the medieval church.

 No longer in use for formal worship, the church contains wall paintings by William Morris sadly damaged by the elements following theft of lead from the roof.

 We then made our way to Buscot pausing at the impressive weirs and lock. After stopping for lunch at a wartime pill box we made our way back to Halfpenny bridge just in time to avoid the rain.
