On Sunday 4th July just 6 “brave” members ignored the forcast of heavy showers to enjoy an 8 mile walk from Minster Lovell.

 Their reward was a lovely walk along the River Windrush in completely dry conditions.

 The walk started from the Cricket Club car park near the bridge and followed paths and tracks through the Charterville Allotments to eventually reach Astall, where we had our lunch stop.

 Having had a brief coffee stop on the way, we then followed further paths and tracks alongside the river to return to Minster Lovell.
