On Wednesday 2nd September 12 members set off on an easy 3½ mile walk from the Victoria Inn in Eastleach.
This was the last evening walk of the year and it made its way through the pretty village of Eastleach, then over the River Leach by way of the ancient Clapper Bridge and past the decommissioned church.
Heading south to Southrop we crossed some fields and walked alongside the river before reaching Southrop. We crossed the river again and made our way back Eastleach.
Fortunately the weather stayed dry so some of us enjoyed a drink outside before going home.
