Cirencester Ramblers

On Tuesday 22nd October, 22 members set off from the Toorak Hotel in Torquay on a 6 mile walk. From the hotel we walked through the harbour and marina area. Then an uphill climb through an attractive residential area until we reached the "castle". This unusual residence was originally a folly then gate house to Castle Tor.

We then descended to Kent's Cavern and refreshments in the their café. Continuing we descended to Meadfoot Beach where we joined the SWCP, which we followed back to Torquay Harbour. This part of the SWCP has plenty steps and long ups and downs; but you are rewarded with lots of coastal views across Torbay.
