Cirencester Ramblers

Despite the heavy rain through the night and up to the start of the walk 10 members and two guests enjoyed a walk from Shipton Moyne to Easton Grey and back.

They walked a track to join the Fosse Way for a short time where they passed the remains of a Roman settlement, crossed the River Avon and joined The Palladian Way. They crossed the river again, swollen by the heavy rain, and stopped in Easton Grey for a coffee.

They walked back to Shipton Moyne through fields, sometimes rather soggy underfoot, but pleased to have been able to walk in this rainy month.
