Eight members and 1 guest set out from the site of the Old Town railway station on a beautiful evening to explore Swindon’s Old Town.

They visited the Great Copse, Lawn Woods, The Lawn estate (the former home of the Goddard family,) Queens Park (an old clay pit and brick works) the home to the Mesothelioma Memorial Garden and Garden of Remembrance, returning via the Town Gardens laid out on the site of a former stone quarry and the railway footpath.
