Cirencester Ramblers

A group of 28 ramblers set out from Slad on a dry but cloudy morning.

The circular route took us into some beautiful isolated, peaceful valleys including Snows Farm Nature Reserve.

At times some of the ascents proved challenging but ultimately rewarding .

Our two stops allowed batteries to be recharged whilst we took in the tranquillity of the area.

Contrasting vistas as we walk along the valley.

Coffee stop at the bottom of a steep path

Spring flowers and bees in the Snows Hill Farm Nature Reserve.

A brief pause before descending into another valley

Approaching the lunch stop on the other side of the valley
