Sixteen members, 3 guests and 5 juniors set out from the Cricklade Rugby Club car park to follow the Thames Path through the town past the point where the river Churn joins the Thames.

Skirting North Meadow Nature Reserve led us to the remains of the North Wilts canal, dug to join the Thames and Severn and the Wilts and Berks canals, which we followed to its junction with the Thames and Severn.

Crossing the A419 provided the only hill on the walk and led us into Latton for a break at the Church. Then it was across fields following the Ampney Brook to its junction with the Thames and then the Thames Path led us back to the start.
