Two ramblers set off for a 4.5 mile leisurely walk in the farmland behind the Cirencester Travelodge in a pleasant temperature with a light breeze.  Turning almost immediately into a wooded area we walked, mainly on permissive paths,  through woodland, back tracks and field edges out to Whiteway Farm. Then down to near the bypass.  We then headed over a stile and across the fields to near the Sisters Wood before taking an attractive path past Field Barn Cottage to Whiteway Farm and back through the woods.  A different view of the country round Cirencester.
