Cirencester Ramblers

On a clear morning after showers, 12 ramblers set out from Bisley, past the old Lock Up and through the churchyard, down the steep steps leading to a lane then track into the fields. We climbed through the field then continued along the ridge above the valley with beautiful views of the woods opposite, enjoying the sight of young lambs in the paddocks beside us. We descended towards Toadsmoor lake and enjoyed lunch at some picnic benches in Toadsmoor Coombe. We returned walking in the valley bottom through the woods and fields to emerge in Bisley once more, passing the Seven Wells and walking through the village to our cars. Tea was enjoyed at Lavender Bakehouse on the way home.
