In cooler conditions 13 walkers set out from the ancient Radcot bridge near The Swan inn. Walking west along the Darcy Dalton Way we passed through fields of cattle and later wheat and barley. Several stiles were crossed and even some wild Morello cherries were picked and consumed. Eventually we reached the footbridge over the Thames where lunch break was taken. Crossing the bridge a detour was taken to the hamlet of Kelmscot passing the home for many years of the arts and crafts designer William Morris. By this time the weather was getting hotter and we gained the Thames Path eastwards. We passed many fisherman and WW2 pillboxes part of Sto Line Red. When we reached Radcot again we met our old friend Bob who originally led this walk many years ago. Some of us then partook  of a very welcome drink in the garden of the Swan before going home.
