Cirencester Ramblers

On the first dry and sunny day for weeks 18 walkers set off from Temple Guiting.  We set off along the Diamond Way then westward along the Winchcombe way.  Walking through Guiting Wood we spotted some Mangalitza pigs in a penned off area.  We continued on a pretty lane to meet the Gloucestershire Way where we admired the views towards Winchcombe.  After a trek along a minor road,  we had lunch on a grassy bank in the sunshine.  Continuing on to Ford we had views of the gallops at Jackdaws Castle.  After negotiating a tricky stretch of road we turned south through some grassy fields and back to Temple Guiting.
