Ten members set off from the village of Windrush on a 5.7 mile walk. It was a warm, blustery day with a little drizzle for the first hour or so, but this did not spoil our enjoyment. We made our way over fields to the delightful and quaint villages of Little & Greater Barrington where we had our first refreshment stop.
On reaching the Great Barrington Estate we were fortunate to see the deer in the Park, albeit at a distance. We continued along wide tracks and fields with lovely views of the surrounding countryside and glimpses of the River Windrush back to the starting point, with a further refreshment stop in between.
