The walk from Batsford Arboretum started on a chilly but sunny day. Proceeding through fields and a road to Batsford village and passing the manor stables followed by an uphill climb.
This proved worthwhile as after walking over another two fields where there was a heavy rain shower and a wooded area we had a lovely view of the village of Blockley where we had our refreshments.
The walk continued over another field and down the outskirts of the Batsford estate back to the Arboretum. All nine walkers then enjoyed lunch in the new cafe
