Seventeen members and 1 visitor started from the centre of Tetbury during a lovely evening for a 4.5 mile walk.
Heading down to the ford at Cutwell we headed across fields pausing for a look at the vista of the church and town laid out behind us.
We then headed along Hookshouse Lane before turning along a pretty track to the Beverston Road.
After a short walk along the road we joined the Macmillan Way heading toward Chavenage. Stopping for a quick break we could view Chavenage House through the trees.
Dropping down into the valley we then cut through Hermit’s Cave wood to Chavenage Lane and back into Tetbury via the Recreation Ground, passing St Saviour’s Church, on the way back to the car park.
