In beautiful Spring weather on Easter Sunday 12 members set off on an 8 mile walk from Winchcombe.

We followed the Cotswold Way out to the remains of 13C Hailes Abbey where we had a short refreshment stop.

Then the walk was uphill for over a mile through North Farmcote to Farmcote, once an Iron Age Hill Fort. When we joined up with the Gloucestershire Way and started to descend back towards Winchcombe through Little Farmcote.

We eventually joined up with the Cotswold Way again and retraced our steps to Winchcombe.
