Cirencester Ramblers

Eighteen members and 1 guest braved the wet weather on this 6 mile walk.

Starting from Radcot bridge, the oldest bridge on the Thames, they followed the d'Arcy Dalton Way across fields and several stiles to the footbridge across the river at Eaton Hastings.

From there the Thames Path brought us back via Kelmscot and Grafton lock to Ye Olde Swan Inn for a well earned drink and a visit to Bob's boat.

We set off from Bob's boat at Radcot Bridge

It's raining as we have close encounters of the cattle kind.

Crossing the River Thames to return to the Thames Path

Some of the contrasts encountered on the river

As the sun comes out we try to dry off

Back at Bob's boat Marian wants to take us for a spin!
