Cirencester Ramblers

On Sunday 8th September 27 members of Cirencester Ramblers set off from the Cotswold Farm Park on a 5½ mile walk. Throughout the walk they enjoyed far ranging views of the Cotswold countryside on a sunny late summer's day. From the Farm Park they took a footpath through Bemborough Farm to a lane, then descended to the River Windrush crossing it by way of a clapper bridge. Then on through Kineton before taking the footpath at Home Farm to Castlett Farm and onto Guiting Power; stopping by a small stream for a coffee break on the way.

From the pretty village of Guiting Power they took footpaths through the hamlet of Barton crossing the River Windrush again to ascend on a farm track towards Tinker's Barn. Before reaching the barn they took the Farm Park's Wildlife Trail back to the start and some coffee and cake in the restaurant.
