On Thursday 14th November 10 members and a guest enjoyed an easy 4½ mile walk from Sherston. We left Sherston by way of Tanners and Bustlers Hills, crossing the River Avon on the way. The walk followed a track and field edges to Lordswood Farm, where we had a short break before making our way along the Fosse Way to Ladyswood Farm.

Here there were new tracks routing you through the estate. Continuing, we reached the gallops and bridleway, which emerged onto lanes leading past Pinkney Park. We returned to Sherston on lanes crossing the River Avon again and lunch at the Carpenters Arms.
