Twelve members and four guests started from The George Inn in South Cerney and had an enjoyable 5 mile stroll along canals and passing the mist covered lakes of the Cotswold Water Park.
The walk started along Bow Wow with the River Churn on the left and turned right to join the disused Thames and Severn canal, which they followed until they reached the hamlet of Cerney Wick
Continuing across a few fields bordering quiet lakes to the disused railway line, they arrived back back in South Cerney for a well-earned drink.

Leaving South Cerney along Bow Wow

Some young animals and a rare sighting of the African Elephant!

Passing Cerney Wick Lock with one of the canal Round Houses on the right

Skirting around one of the lakes

Returning along Bow Wow to South Cerney
