On a balmy summer evening fifteen Ramblers met at Southrop Village Hall for a 4.5 mile stroll through mixed farmland paths towards Eastleach. Some fields had the stubble of harvested corn, others had bales of hay waiting for collection.

After the distant views from the high fields we dropped down to Eastleach and followed the Leach  Brook, a clear flowing stream, all the way back to Southrop where we quenched our thirst at the Swan Inn as the sun set.
