On a hot and sticky Sunday afternoon, 1st July, 20 members and 2 guests set off on a 4½ mile Strawberry Tea Walk in Tetbury.  From Quercus Road we made our way to Wor Well, the source of the Tetbury Branch of the River Avon.  Following the footpath past some alpacas we continued into Tetbury on Herd Lane passing allotments before reaching Chipping Street.  Avoiding the town centre, we walked along Eccles Court to the London Road.

Continuing around the outskirts of Tetbury we walked along Cutwell and Berrells Road crossing the Bath Road and along Grange Lane before taking the footpath back towards Tetbury.  After a few fields the path crosses Silver Street and towards the Old Station Yard.  We made our way back along the disused railway track until we reached the path to Wor Well and so retraced our steps to the start. After the walk it was a short walk to Jane Bell’s house where strawberries, cream and cake awaited.
