Cirencester Ramblers

January 6th Seven Springs

On a mild Sunday 6th January 27 members and guests enjoyed a 7 mile walk from Seven Springs.

The group followed the Cotswold Way around Hartley Hill with far ranging views across Cheltenham, until reaching the Devil's Chimney where they took a coffee break.

Refreshed the walkers continued on the Cotswold Way around Leckhampton Hill until they reached Ullenwood Manor. Here the group took the lane south, crossing the A436 and ascending South Hill on a farm track to reach the Gloucestershire Way.

From here they followed the Gloucestershire Way along the picturesque Coldwell Bottom, where they stopped for lunch, and continued on until reaching the village of Coberley. From Coberley they took the path across fields back to Seven Springs.
