Cirencester Ramblers

June14th Coleshill

Ten members left the Cuckoo Pen Plantation car park to walk across fields with lovely views of the Ridgeway and White Horse Hill.

Arriving at Great Coxwell we visited the very impressive medieval Tythe Barn, formerly part of the Beaulieu Abbey estate.

After a short break we continued on farm tracks with sightings of red kites and fields of poppies to return to the start and a well deserved pub lunch.
