Cirencester Ramblers

May 28th Woodchester Park

Twenty one members and 2 guests had a misty start at Woodchester Park for a 5.7 mile walk.

They headed east through Break-heart-hill woods and past the children's adventure play area and then on to the water tower, before descending to Middle Pond where they stopped for a tea break.

After the tea break they crossed Park Mill Pond with views of two waterfalls. They then headed west along the side of Park Mill and Kennel Mill ponds before crossing at Old Pond to the Boathouse. After the Boathouse they headed left up some steps and then on to Woodchester Mansion

They finished at the William Leigh's unfinished mansion where they stopped for ice-cream and some had cake and then ice-cream, they deserved it!
