On the evening of Wednesday 14th May, 13 members set off from Andoversford for a 4 mile walk in beautiful sunshine. They walked to Osewell Farm, continuing on to Frogmill and eventually crossing over the road to pass Shipton Golf course.
From here they continued on the Gloucestershire Way to Foxcote, then climbed up to Kilkenny to reach Upper Dowdeswell. On the return they passed Sandywell Park, a beautiful Jacobean Georgian Mansion built in 1704, now a Grade 11 listed building. They then retired to the Royal Oak for a well earned drink.
