Cirencester Ramblers

May 18th Buscot Lock

On Thursday 18th May 13 members and 4 guests enjoyed a 4½ mile walk from Buscot. From the delightful little village we made our way across the River Thames by means of Buscot Lock. We walked on across fields to Paradise Farm and then to Kelmscott where we stopped for a coffee break at the church with its unusual round font and William Morris' headstone.   From Kelmscott we joined the Thames Path back to Buscot where most of us had lunch at the local Tea Room.
