April 2nd Cotswold Farm Park

On Sunday 2nd April 28 members and 2 guests enjoyed a beautiful 5½ mile walk from the Cotswold Farm Park in the spring sunshine. Leaving the Farm Park they took the footpath to Bemborough Farm, well known to followers of BBC Countryfile as Adam's Farm. On reaching the lane the group headed downhill to the River Windrush, which they crossed using the old clapper bridge, then on to Kineton. From Kineton the walkers took the path to Castlett Farm where they stopped for a coffee break overlooking its garden and lakes.

After the break the group continued on to the attractive village of Guiting Power and the hamlet of Barton. After crossing the Windrush again they took the farm track uphill until they reached the Cotswold Farm Park – Wildlife Trail, which they followed back to the start where many of them took the opportunity of enjoying refreshments in Adam’s Kitchen, the café attached to the Farm Park.
