On Tuesday 24th January fifteen members of Cirencester Ramblers set off on a 5 mile walk from Northleach. The walk started off in freezing fog as the group made their way past the Old Prison and on to Hampnett.
Here the group stopped to look around the medieval church with its Victorian wall painting. As the walkers left Hampnett the sun started to break through to reveal a lovely winter's day. They then made their way to Hangman's Stone for a short coffee stop, before making their way back along a lane and footpaths to Helen's Ditch and descending into Northleach. After the walk 11 members enjoyed lunch at The Black Cat Cafe in Northleach town centre.
