Ten members set off from Bourton on the Water on a glorious sunny day on the first midweek morning walk. Leaving the village they crossed fields and negotiated several kissing gates to join the River Windrush.
They then skirted two lakes before turning for a steady climb towards Clapton on the Hill where they stopped for a short break and to admire the view. It was then time to head back to the start, crossing more fields and woodlands to have a well earned lunch before taking advantage of some of Bourton’s attractions.
